In 2017, The North Face dispatched a team of the world’s finest explorers to the Queen Maud Land territory in Antarctica. The team spent a month climbing and establishing new routes on the Wolf’s Jaw massif, enduring brutal storms and freezing winds. The moments captured by photographers Jimmy Chin, Savannah Cummins, and Pablo Durana of one of the more remote places on earth convey just what it’s like to survive at latitude 70 degrees south.
