Enter your exciting, original, hilarious, or inspiring short film in the 2009 REEL ROCK Film Competition. As long as it's no longer than 2 minutes and somehow related to climbing, we want to see it! The best film in each category will be featured on the 2009 Tour, and the filmmakers win cash and prizes from our sponsors; Windstopper, The North Face, Petzl and more. So get those creative juices flowing, check out last years winners, fire up the camcorders and laptops, and hit us with your best shot!

competition rules

- Films accepted from anywhere in the world
- Professionals, amateurs, first-timers, and seasoned veterans welcome
- Genre categories: Action/Drama and Comedy/Spoof
- Films must be NO LONGER THAN 2 minutes - we encourage shorter films
- Films must not be available anywhere on the internet (i.e., YouTube, Vimeo) or commercially
- REEL ROCK judges will select the best entries in each category and post them to www.reelrocktour.com for voting by August 1, 2009
- The winning films, one from each category - as chosen by voters on-line and REEL ROCK judges - will be featured in the 2009 REEL ROCK Film Tour program
- Winning filmmakers will receive a prize package from REEL ROCK sponsors + $500 cash
- Films must be submitted in Full-Resolution QuickTime files burned onto DVD. DVD must be labeled with filmmaker's name and film title
- To enter the competition, download the Release Form, sign it and send it with your DVD to:
